Terms of Service

By installing or using the Mnemo Chrome extension or visiting mnemo.embuscon.com (collectively the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") with Embuscon Technologies ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Mnemo captures AI conversation content from supported providers (ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) and stores it in a local SQLite database on your own device. Mnemo provides full-text search, repeat-detection, and historical crawl over that local data. Mnemo is free to use with no feature limits and no account required.

Mnemo operates entirely on your device. Your conversation content is never transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

The Mnemo name, logo, and branding remain owned by Embuscon Technologies and may not be used in any product, integration, or marketing material without our prior written consent.

You may not use the extension in any way that:

• Violates applicable law or the terms of service of the AI providers you access through it.
• Uses the Mnemo name or logo in a misleading way or to imply endorsement by Embuscon Technologies.

The official Mnemo extension sends an anonymous monthly usage ping to mnemo.embuscon.com/api/telemetry. This ping contains only aggregate counts (captures, sessions, provider breakdown), technical metadata (version, database size), and the country resolved at the network edge. No conversation content, no personal identifiers, and no email addresses are ever transmitted.

This telemetry is present in all official Mnemo releases and cannot be disabled through the extension UI. Its purpose is product improvement and community health monitoring. The data is never sold and never contains your conversation content.

Mnemo reads content rendered in your browser by third-party AI providers: OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, and Google's Gemini. Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms of service. We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. We make no warranty that Mnemo will continue to be compatible with those providers if they change their interfaces.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Embuscon Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Changelog page with at least 14 days notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
