Terms of Service

By installing or using the Mnemo Chrome extension or visiting mnemo.embuscon.com (collectively the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") with Embuscon Technologies ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Mnemo captures AI conversation content from supported providers (currently ChatGPT and Claude) and stores it in a local SQLite database on your own device. Mnemo provides full-text search, repeat-detection, and historical crawl over that local data. Pro users additionally get export and analytics features.

Mnemo operates entirely on your device. Your conversation content is never transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Mnemo extension on devices you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension or its obfuscated code.
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any license enforcement mechanism.
• Share, resell, or sublicense Pro license keys.
• Use the extension in any way that violates applicable law or the terms of service of the AI providers you access through it.

The Pro license is a one-time purchase granting lifetime access to Pro features as they exist at time of purchase, plus updates for a reasonable period. A Pro license key may be activated on up to 2 devices simultaneously. We reserve the right to revoke a license key if we determine it has been shared, sold, or used in violation of these Terms.

Prices are set per country and may change for new purchases. Existing license holders are not affected by price changes.

Because Mnemo is a digital product that provides immediate access upon activation, all sales are final. If you experience a verifiable technical defect that prevents the extension from functioning as described, contact legal@embuscon.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.

The free tier is limited to 50 saved captures. This limit may be adjusted at our discretion with reasonable notice. Free tier users may upgrade to Pro at any time to remove the limit.

Mnemo reads content rendered in your browser by third-party AI providers (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude). Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms of service. We are not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic. We make no warranty that Mnemo will continue to be compatible with those providers if they change their interfaces.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Embuscon Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the pro license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Changelog page with at least 14 days notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
